We are excited to welcome you to Camp Norge!


Guests should bring their own:

  • Linens or sleeping bags
  • Pillows
  • Towels
  • Toiletries
  • Flashlight

Please note that Camp Norge is run by and for members of Sons of Norway District Six. We ask that you treat the property with respect. We do not have maids or cleaning services and we ask all guests to clean their rooms and any spaces they used before they leave, so that it will be ready for the next guest.

Before you vacate your room, please:

  • Empty trash cans
  • Sweep
  • Tidy up the space

If using the kitchens, please:

  • Wash and put away dishes
  • Clean counters
  • Clean out the fridge
  • Empty the trash
  • Do NOT leave any food behind

You will find brooms in every room or hallway. If you need a vacuum please ask our staff.

Check-in time: 2:00 PM

Check-out time: 12:00 PM

  • Please make sure to leave your room and any areas you used clean upon your departure.

Dogs are allowed for an additional fee of $2/night

    • Must be kept on leash
    • Dogs (except service dogs) are only allowed in the cabins, dorm 1, and tent/RV sites
    • Dogs are NOT allowed in the Main House, Halls, or other dorms

At all times Sons of Norway Members and non members must abide by and observe all rules and regulations of Sons of Norway, Sons of Norway District 6 and Camp Norge. Non compliance can result in loss of rental fee and being asked to exit Camp Norge property immediately.
1. All campers are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with acceptable social standards (Common Courtesy).
2. To protect the scenic beauty of the property, removal of plants, animals and minerals are prohibited.
3. The use of guns, archery equipment, hatchets, knives or other throwing weapons are prohibited  (except during sanctioned organized and adult supervised events).
4. Parents will be held responsible for the activities and conduct of their children at all times. Children under the age of 18 are not allowed to stay at Camp without their parents or a responsible adult chaperone (over 21). (01/1981)
5. No smoking inside any building or in the Pool area. Smoking only allowed in designated areas. Locations are posted and have receptacles for Cigarette butts & smoking waste.
6. Dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet all times and owners shall clean up after their own animals. No pets will be allowed inside the buildings, Pool area, Dorm 1 or the Stabbur. Pets may stay overnight with owners only in dorm 2 and the 2 Cozy cabins.
7. No motorbikes or off-road vehicles shall be operated on camp property. Wheeled shoes, skate boards, and roller blades will not be allowed anywhere on camp property.
8. Swimmers must abide by the pool rules. (See pool rules next page).
9. Garbage and trash must be placed in receptacles provided.
10. Rooms are to be left in a clean and orderly condition. Kitchens and social hall areas shall also be cleaned and left in an orderly manner.
11. Campers shall be held financially responsible for any property damage incurred by themselves, their family or pets.
12. Room check-out and check-in time is 12:00 pm unless prior arrangements have been made and confirmed.
13. There will be no electronic sound equipment or amplification of music in the meadow area.
14. Sons of Norway Campers are required to show current membership cards at the time of registration. Non member campers must be accompanied by a SoN member at all times while on property. All Non-SoN District 6 Campers must always be sponsored and accompanied by a current Son’s of Norway member. The SoNs District member assumes full responsibility for their non-member camper(s) / guests.
15. Hiking is allowed only on designated “Nature Trails” and main roads. Feeding or petting of either feralcats or other wild animals is strictly prohibited for your own good.
16. No open camp fires at any time. Fire pit to be used with consent of staff depending upon current conditions and Fire Dept. rules.
17. Personal Electrical appliances are not allowed in any of the rooms. IE hairdryers, curling irons & cooking appliances
18. No lit candles to be used anywhere in camp at any time.
19. No dumping of waste water anywhere on camp property.
20. Use of all power sources is at your own risk. The consistency and nature of Camp power is unpredictable. Use of all power and Camp Utility sources (including RV hookups) is at the user’s own risk.

INFRINGEMENT OF THESE RULES MAY RESULT IN IMMEDIATE DENIAL OF USE OF THESE CAMP FACILITIES. THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE RECREATION CENTER HAS VESTED FULL AUTHORITY WITH THE CAMP STAFF TO ENFORCE ALL CAMP RULES, REGULATIONS AND POLICIES AS DIRECTED BY THE BOARD.
